Cleanability Code
Letter codes on upholstery tags that say which cleaners are safe.
Definition
Upholstery cleanability codes (often W, S, WS, or X) tell you whether water-based cleaners, solvent cleaners, either, or vacuum-only care is recommended. A performance fabric with the wrong cleaner can still leave a ring.
