Pocket Screw
A screw driven at an angle through a pocket hole to join parts.
Definition
Pocket screws speed assembly and appear in many modern frames. They can be strong when sized and glued correctly, but they are not automatically equal to a well-fitted mortise-and-tenon in a chair that takes racking loads.
