Cam Lock
Ready-to-assemble hardware that locks a bolt into a rotating disc.
Definition
Cam locks are common in flat-pack case goods. They assemble quickly but depend on particleboard or MDF edges holding the fittings. Over-tightening strips the hole; under-tightening leaves a wobble you feel every time the drawer opens.
