Banquette
Built-in or fixed bench seating, often along a wall or in a corner.
Definition
Banquettes pack seats into awkward corners and can hide storage under the lid. Depth and finished seat height have to fit inside the clearance from the table edge to the wall—usually about 32 inches when nobody walks behind the diner.
